I just couldn't believe at the time when Erykah Badu released her landmark album 'Baduizm' that no one played her tunes? I heard one or two of her tunes on the radio once or twice. This was a life changing album. A massive break from the end of the mid 90's commercial rnb which by 1997 was pretty much over and Puff Daddy took over completely with his sampling of samples that had been sampled before. Maybe people weren't ready..
