The Chimes Heaven (Special Mix) (CBS) 1990

Wicked long remix of the Chimes classic 'Heaven' A dubby version that moves towards a more housey feel as the track progresses...

Moonshine Live In Joy (White)

Don't know much about this record apart from I like it. Picked it up in the early 90's and it sounds like a more quality streetsoul production perhaps. Positive lyrics, nice bassline and also piano and percussion!

Expired MP3s

Just noticed on some of the older posts a few mp3s have expired. Will sort it out..

Intime People (Let's Get Along) (Cooltempo) 1990

Very positive vibes from Intime. The chorus does it for me on this one.

Mary J Blige Changes I've Been Going Through (MCA) 1992

Love this album track from Mary's first release 'What's The 411?'. Has real soul and emotion to it, something she started to lack after her first two albums in my opinion. Take a moment to reminisce...

Rae & Christian feat Veba Spellbound (Grand Central) 1997

From 1997 this was a marvellous 12" on Fat City's 'Grand Central' record label. Nearly forgot about this, glad I didn't..

Sister Nancy Bam Bam (Vp Records) 2000

One of the best dancehall tunes ever made. This is a reissue, the original being from the early 80's if memory serves me correct. This has been sampled many times but for me the best was when Main Source sampled and scratched it up on his killer hip hop track 'Just Hangin' Out'
Everybody needs a copy of this classic song.

Erykah Badu No Love (Baduizm) (Universal) 1997

Drizabone Shiver (1996)

The label on this isn't white but I have no image. This was a black label with a skeleton on it I think and the DB logo?! Very rare 1996 soul tune from Drizabone. For real soul music lovers.

Smooth soul from Curtis Hairston. I like.

Oran Juice Jones The Rain (Def Jam) 1986

Loved this from 1996. On the label Def Jam, more famous for a lot of the early rap greats such as Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and LL Cool J. Loved this tune, parts of this have been borrowed since it's release, most noticably for me was on Yvette Michele's 'I'm Not Feeling You' back in 1997. 'I gave you names you couldn't even pronounce' Briliant stuff!
